PROGRAMME

The "Electronics Design" Programme has been created by DTI to help British companies take advantage of the opportunities offered by recent advances in methods of electronics design.

The programme is aimed especially at smaller firms engaged in the design of electronics products and systems, but larger companies are also welcome to participate. It offers a portfolio of commercial and technical support measures.

 


These include:

  • indepth management seminars and design workshops held throughout the UK

  • a network of regional Electronics Design Support Centres, offering free expert consultancy as well as training, design support and project management

  • signposts to UK and EU funding schemes for projects and user-friendly material, including case histories

  • guide to design best practice

  • guide to UK suppliers of devices, design tools, design services, training and consultancy
