In 1985, Magus Electronics was set up "to offer a high quality, comprehensive service to the electronics industry". More specifically, we are problem solvers. We look at problems in new ways, in order to develop original solutions where such creativity pays dividends. Our design experience is impressive: it covers almost everything that needs to be controlled or needs to be monitored. Whether for small, portable measuring equipment or large scale industrial control systems, Magus' design department can undertake a wide range of projects, either from an initial concept or full specification.

Our designs range from simple power supplies to medical instrumentation. One of our specialisms is micro-controller systems and here our designs vary in complexity from simple hand-held instruments to laser-based semi-automatic PCB assembly workstations. We use the very latest CAD technology and our expertise incorporates schematic capture (ORCAD), artwork generation (POWER-PCB) and specialised software (including that for both PC and embedded controller systems).
