Microchip manufacture and supply a full range of development tools, to support the complete range of PICmicro™ microcontrollers, which we also manufacture. Software tools include an assembler, C compiler and simulator, which operate in an integrated development environment, providing full source level debug facilities. The same environment also supports in-circuit emulators and programmers. Evaluation boards, fuzzy logic and code generator packages complete our development tool line-up. As well as microcontrollers and development systems, Microchip also manufacture non-volatile memory devices, security and smart card devices and mask programmed gate arrays.
