Samsung offers a varied portfolio of 4,8,16 and 32 bit CMOS microcontrollers. The 4 bit family has a wide variety of on chip analog and display control peripherals, an 8 bit datapath and very high performance with low power. The 8 bit family, based on the Zilog Super 8 core has a variety of UART, ADC, ROM/RAM sizes and external memory interface. 16 and 32 bit families have being developed around the ARM7 core.
