Zetex provides Field Programmable Analog Devices and analog ASIC products. TRAC (Totally Reconfigurable Analog Circuit) delivers the benefits of rapid prototyping and market entry by top-down, structured design. Easy to use Windows drag and drop software enables complete system design. Rapid simulation confirms the design which is downloaded to the hardware emulator for in-system performance evaluation. Higher production volumes can benefit from a low risk migration to a fixed configuation analog ASIC. A series of bipolar linear semi-custom arrays, containing varying numbers of NPN and PNP transistors and sectional base resistors, is also offered. The circuit is completed by a single metal mask design.
Circuit design and layout is all PC supported on industry standard software. Comprehensive design support is available in the form of a design manual and kits of parts for breadboarding. If design support is required, Zetex has access to local independent design centres throughout the UK, offering design consultancy through to turn-key designs.

Design and simulation is PC based. TRAC uses free proprietary software. The semi-custom array design uses PSPICE for simulation and ICED for layout. Zetex provides SPICE parameters and layout databases.
