Raytheon is involved in the design and manufacture of ASICs in Glenrothes, Scotland, using a range of CMOS technologies. ASIC solutions are provided using double poly CMOS with optional double metal. High and low voltage process variants are also offered. The double poly CMOS can integrate analogue, digital and non volatile memory functions. Innovative design allows analogue functions to be trimmed using non volatile trim bits. A flexible design interface is offered, which can accommodate the development of an ASIC from a verbal description, through to a foundry service using customer tooling. The design interface is supported by an applications group. Full ASIC test and qualification is offered on site.
