From these processes they can provide ASIC designs covering: low and high voltage, RF, analogue, digital and mixed analogue digital (mixed mode). AMS realises that to provide the best digital and mixed mode ASIC designs they must provide customers with design consultancy, interface flexibility and give a large choice of processes - provided by local applications engineering, use of industry standard design tools, extensive cell library and the option for the customers and AMS to share the design tasks, AMS supplies a range of volume needs, from a few thousand pieces, to over 1m pieces. Customers are from industrial/automotive/telecom industries and cover a range of company sizes from small through to large multi nationals.
